My name is Daniel. I own and operate Bims Laundry Cafe, a full-service laundromat and cafe in Everett, Washington. We do self-service, wash and fold, pickup and delivery, commercial laundry, event linen cleaning, and dry cleaning across 14 cities in Snohomish County and King County.
Before this, I spent over two decades in IT infrastructure, the kind of work where systems thinking and problem-solving are the whole job. When I started running the laundromat full-time, I brought that same systems mindset into pricing, marketing, and day-to-day operations.
What I found was a gap. There's plenty of content out there about buying laundromats: how to evaluate a deal, how to finance one, how to do due diligence. But there's far less about how to actually grow one after you own it. The marketing advice is generic. The pricing advice is vague. The SEO guidance is often written by agencies that have never stepped inside a laundromat.
That's why I started Wash Strategy.
Every article on this site is built from decisions I've made in my own store: real pricing changes, real commercial accounts, real Google Business Profile work, and real lessons from what worked and what didn't. No theory. No secondhand advice. No recycled "10 tips" content from someone who doesn't run the business.
If you're an independent laundromat owner trying to get more customers, charge what you're worth, and build a business that doesn't depend on being the cheapest option in town, this site is for you.
New guides are published regularly. If you want them sent to your inbox, grab the free 30-Minute Audit Kit on the homepage.
